The tribute to Duke Ellington's timeless classic "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)" promises to be an extraordinary celebration of jazz, featuring the mesmerizing talents of Kim Nalley awarded "Most Influential African American in the Bay Area" in 2005 and "Best Jazz Group" in 2013, vocalist. Dr. Kim Nalley is already being called "legendary" and a "San Francisco institution.

In 2017 Tammy L. Hall received the award for Best Musical Direction from the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle. Under the expert guidance Tammy Hall, the Duke Ellington performance is expected to deliver a rich tapestry of sound that honors the legacy of Ellington while showcasing the unique artistry only these three women can bring you.
