BEST OF SAN FRANCISCO COMEDY COMPETITION
HILARITY FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Friday, November 27, 2026 8 PM
$40 (Marin Center Fees Included)
Sometimes we may wonder but comedians actually have families, too, that they visit during holidays. We’re fortunate that much credited and amazingly funny Mo Mandel grew up in Boonville with a psychiatrist as a father. It made him what he is today — a top comedian with a unique perspective. Mo will be headlining a four-act show guaranteed to help burn off those Thanksgiving dinner calories with laughter!
Mo is a comedian and actor who recently appeared on Netflix’s hit show, NOBODY WANTS THIS, as well on HBO’s iconic series CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM. In the past Mo was a frequent guest on CONAN and CHELSEA LATELY while also appearing on big podcasts like WTF w/ MARC MARON, ADAM CAROLLA, BERTCAST, YOUR MOM’S HOUSE, and THE FIGHTER AND THE KID. Mo has also guest-starred on hit sitcoms such as MODERN FAMILY, CASTLE, and HAPPY ENDINGS. And if that’s not enough, Mo also created COMEDY KNOCKOUT for truTV, and was the head writer on THEO VON’s show MAN UP, which aired on COMEDY CENTRAL. You catch him soon on COMIC’S UNLEASHED on CBS.
Ashley Monique is a San Francisco-based comedian who delivers wry and sometimes dark humor with a disarming, earnest energy. She is a regular at the San Francisco Punch Line and Cobb’s Comedy Club, has been featured at Big Pine Comedy Festival, and she has opened for Josh Johnson, Nick Kroll, and Mary Beth Barone. Offstage, you can find her grossly overthinking her last social interaction. Online, you can find her on Instagram @trashleymonique.
Carla Clay appeared in the Purple Onion movie, and on Comics Unleashed hosted by Byron Allen. She performed at Punchline's San Francisco and Sacramento, Laugh Factory Los Angels, Rooster T Feathers Sunnyvale, Marshall's Women in Comedy Boston, plus Edinburgh Comedy Festival United Kingdom, GBR.
