Festival Director Lido Cantarutti announces the film program for the 2019 Italian Film Festival, the Festival’s 43rd year in Marin County.  The line-up  features recent comedies, one romantic drama (with the three young Italian tenors known as “Il Volo” in a cameo role, and two excellent dramas.

Festival dates are September 21, 22, 28, 29, October 5, 12, 26 and November 2, 2019. For details on the eight films in the series visit the Festival website at www.italianfilm.com.

All films are at the Showcase Theatre, Marin Center, San Rafael, CA.  Saturday screenings are at 5:30 pm and 7:45 pm; the Sunday screenings are at 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm.  All films are in Italian/original language with subtitles in English, and are suggested for mature audiences.
