Step into the enchanting world of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. as Good Shepherd Lutheran’s middle school musical theater class proudly presents this timeless tale of transformation and tolerance. Based on the original Broadway production that captivated audiences for over thirty years and garnered nine Tony Award nominations, as well as the Academy Award-winning motion picture, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. is a magical adaptation featuring some of the most beloved songs ever written.
Follow the journey of Belle, a spirited young woman living in a provincial town, as she encounters the mysterious Beast, who is, in reality, a young prince trapped under an enchantress’s spell. As Belle discovers the heart and humanity within the Beast. Come and see all the enchanted characters in this story of hope, healing with a mix of humor too!
This stellar cast of some of the best young actors and vocalists will have you smiling, laughin and maybe even tearing up over the beautifully sung songs of your most favorite ballads. Great entertainment for all ages!
